Privacy Policy
Plain-language summary of how we handle your family's information.
What we collect
The purchaser's name, email address and optional WhatsApp number; the child's first name, age, character preference, theme, favourite colour and animal and interests; an optional dedication, an optional special detail and an optional photo; and order and payment reference information such as your UPI transaction reference (UTR) and any payment screenshot you send us.
Why we collect it
To personalise and deliver the book you ordered, to communicate with you about that order, and to handle support, corrections, refunds, fraud prevention and basic accounting records.
Child data
Child details and photos are provided by a parent, legal guardian or otherwise authorised adult. We use them only for the limited purpose of creating and fulfilling the ordered book. They are never posted publicly on this website or anywhere else, and are never used in marketing without your separate, explicit authorisation.
Data sharing
We share information only with the service providers strictly necessary to run the service — for example hosting and storage, payment gateways such as Cashfree, Razorpay, PhonePe or Paytm when you choose to pay online, and email or messaging used to reach you. Gateway payments happen on the provider’s own checkout: they process your payment details under their own terms and privacy policy, and we only receive non-sensitive confirmation data such as their order and transaction identifiers, the amount and the status. We never receive or store card numbers, CVV, UPI PIN, OTP or bank login details. We do not sell personal data.
Retention
Personalisation files, including any photo, are kept only as long as reasonably needed to fulfil and support your order. When they are no longer needed we delete or anonymise them, except where records must be retained for legal or accounting purposes. You can ask us to delete a photo sooner and we will.
Your rights and how to contact us
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information you shared, or withdraw consent for a photo, by writing to dr.tiwarirajat@gmail.com. Please include your order reference so we can find your record.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards: submissions and any photo are stored privately in the database with no public read access. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed absolutely secure, so we do not claim it is.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we will update this page and the date shown on it. Material changes affecting how we use child data will be communicated to affected customers where we can reach them.
Indian privacy law
This policy is intended to operate alongside applicable Indian privacy and data-protection requirements. Nothing here reduces any statutory rights you have under those laws.
